A typical day for an Internal medicine physician……

Internal Medicine physicians care for young adults as they grow out of a relationship with their pediatrician and continue to care for them though out their life. The relationship is well established and grows through the years.

Upon graduation from Texas Tech University Health Sciences center and completion of my Residency in Internal Medicine, I soon realized that the larger clinics had become an assembly line of care and the personal touch was lost. It was without hesitation that I started and continue to practice with my focus upon the patient and his/her needs. This means I can take the time to know my patient and the patients problems without the time stamp reminding me that I have not seen my 5 to 7 patients this hour.

I love what I do and when I can no longer practice in this manner I will retire.
